Life?

Marvin, the paranoid android from the series known as the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. This is my favorite quote of his, and the pic was drawn originally on paper with a ball point pen, then scanned in and cleaned up with PS:CS and my wacom. I love this pic, but that may be because it was my first trial at colouring in ages - the shading was easy, and the colouring really isnt colouring (but the amount of times I tried to get the eyes right without success was astounding, thus I clarify this as a colouring excercise - believe me, they may look crap, but they were the last of a long series of tries )

also, did almost all of it from memory (the head was the only bit i needed clarification for - couldnt remember how the panels went together)

anyway - i love Marvin, and think that I have done him some (if only a little bit of) service here ^_^

for the first time in a long time, im really proud of my work ^_^
